2015 Titans:An Overview of 2015

2015 was a good year. Here are all of the things that happened this year:

-We got a new puppy named Lakota Sioux.
-I met my friend Asher, who I am currently working on a video project with.
-I went to acting class again and did a play called Piggie Pie.
-I got all kinds of cool stuff (including the new Xenoblade game) for Christmas.
-Grandma was in the hospital for awhile but she healed and is now okay.
-The new Muppet show premiered.
-I started watching Teen Titans Go, Clarence, and The Last Man on Earth.
-Mom and Dad went to a concert of the coolest band ever, Blackberry Smoke.
-I saw all kinds of cool movies including The Spongebob Movie, Inside Out, Dances with
Wolves, Big Hero 6, the whole Star Wars series, and Pixels for the first time this year.
-I went to theater to see Goosebumps on Halloween and REALLY enjoyed it.
-I wrote plenty of stories including a series of crossovers between Family Guy and the Rio movies.
-My cat ran off for a while, but he came back two weeks later.
-We had a great Thanksgiving and had the whole family over.
-I got a new Weird Al CD (they I still have yet to listen to).
-I had a good 16th birthday where we went to the mall and saw a movie.
-We met Robin Lord Taylor, Gigi Edgley, Jim Cummings, Verne Troyer, Adam West, and Deep Roy at Comic-Con.
-One of the people on a gaming forum I go to made a mod I requested. It made me so happy that
they would do such a thing.
-Speaking of requests, I made two videos that a girl requested me to make and she enjoyed them.
-I made a lot of animutations, YouTube poops, and live-action videos this year.
-A teacher at my old school who we called Miss Kitty because she liked cats had cancer this year, but God answered our prayers and now she is home and feeling better.

All in all 2015 was a good year and I hope 2016 is even better.

The Top 25 Animated Characters

This list is based off of Fox's Top 45 Funniest Animated Characters, but I'm going with 25.

#25:Patrick Star (Spongebob) - Twinkle, twinkle, Patrick Star, do you know how dumb you are? That's a poem I made up, LOL! But still, Patrick is hilarious! Not only is he the dumbest character in Spongebob, but he is the most quotable. If you follow Internet memes, I'm sure you've heard "Is mayonnaise an instument?", "My name's not RICK!", or "Nobody calls me tubby!" several times. He's almost like Nigel Thornberry as he is a very popular Internet meme. Most notably the surprised Patrick face. By the way, I wumbo, you wumbo, he she me wumbo, wumbology the study of wumbo. It's 1st Grade, Spongebob!

#24:Brian the dog (Family Guy) - Brian is probably my favorite Family Guy character. He is a talking dog that drinks martinis, travels through time, and has a human son named Dylan. Try and tell me that's not creative? Brian is not your average dog character and has so many funny quotes that I have probably said hundreds of times. For the longest time I didn't know that Seth McFarlane uses his real voice when he voices Brian, so when I heard Seth McFarlane talk as himself for the first time I thought "Is he using Brian's voice?". It just adds to the hilarity that is Brian the dog.

#23:Pedro (Rio) - For those haven't seen the movie, Pedro is the little chubby bird with red hair. He is by far the funniest character in Rio. I remember one day at my acting class, me and my friends just started singing Pedro's "Drop it, drop it low" song. The teacher thought we were nuts!

#22:Timmy's Dad (Fairly Odd Parents) - Timmy's Dad (who doesn't have a proper first name) was one of the best characters on The Fairly Odd Parents. He dressed like a girl and tried to become Miss Dimmsdale in one episode. That's pretty funny if you ask! And by the way, DINKLEBERG!

#21:Wendy (Gravity Falls) - Gravity Falls is a very good show and I'm going to miss it when it goes off the air soon. But one of the best characters on the show is Wendy. Don't be fooled by what Disney usually puts on the screen, Wendy is a tough female character almost like Merida on Brave.

#20:Pikachu (Pokemon) - Pika pika pika pika pika pika pika pika pika pika pika pika. That is why I put Pikachu on the list. Next!

#19;Dory (Finding Nemo) - Wait a minute, who was I talking about? Sorry, I forgot, what is that fish's name? Okay, well, this is embarassing. Next!

#18:Perry the Platypus (Phineas and Ferb) - He's a semi-aquatic egg laying mammal of action and guess what, Perry's not the on this list. It's his alter-ego, Agent P that made this list. Agent P is not a pet platypus, is a super tough secret agent platypus. So if you think Perry's a boring character, he will beat you with his ninjas moves.

#17:Eduardo (Foster's) - Eduardo is a big purple monster who is afraid of everything including clowns, heights, broccoli, spiders, robots, vampires, werewolves, trolls, and extremosaurs. The one thing he isn't afraid of is potatoes. He likes potatoes.

#16:The Gromble (AAAHH! Real Monsters) - For those who didn't watch AAAAHH! Real Monsters, Gromble was the boss of the three main monsters. He was not only funny because of how he talked but the way he looked. This monster wore high heels and makeup. He looked REALLY funny is you ask me.

#15:Linda Belcher (Bob's Burgers) - Linda is HILARIOUS! She is Bob's wife on the show and sings practically everything. She loves to have the spotlight which makes her even funnier. It seriously kind of surprised that two of the main female characters, Linda and Tina are both voiced by men. Well, that leaves Louise!

#14:Cyborg (Teen Titans Go!) - To be honest, I haven't seen the original Teen Titans cartoon. I would like to, but they don't play it in my neck of the woods. Anyway, on the new Teen Titans, Cyborg is so funny. Especially when he and Beast Boy hang out.

#13:Candace (Phineas and Ferb) - Mom, Phineas and Ferb are writing about me in Matt's blog.

#12:Steve Smith (American Dad) - Steve alongside Roger is my favorite character on American Dad. He is your average teenage boy character and the writers make sure to put a lot of teenage boy humor in the conversations he has.

#11:Bart Simpsons (The Simpsons) - Yes, Bart's #11. Don't have a cow man!

#10:Bing-Bong (Inside Out) - Who's your friend that likes to play? Well, Bing-Bong of course. I thought Bing-Bong was a really good character so I put him as #10. He is probably the best character (besides Joy) in the whole movie.

#9:Muscle Man (Regular Show) - Muscle Man is one of my favorite Regular Show characters. You know who else likes Muscle Man, MY MOM!

#8:Cheese (Foster's) - I like chocolate milk!

#7:Clarence (Clarence) - Clarence cracks me up. Him and Sumo together especially but the Clarence-themed episodes are mostly the best. He is the titular character, am I right?

#6:Beast Boy (Teen Titans) - Beast Boy is the green guy who can turn into animals. I bet if his voice actor is reading this, he's calling up Tara Strong right now and saying "Guess what, I'm #6 on The Matt Show, momma!".

#5:Lilo and Stitch (Lilo and Stitch) - I like Stitch, but how could I leave out Lilo? Lilo was always one of my favorite characters and it ticks me off when people forget about her. I mean her name is first in the title LILO and Stitch not Stitch and Lilo. I remember being a little upset when they replaced Lilo with Yuna in the anime. Don't get me wrong, I like Yuna, but Lilo's a lot better.

#4:Tina Belcher (Bob's Burgers) - Tina may seem kinda boring at first, but please give her a chance. Her quotes are some of the best in the show even though most of them I can't post (they're kinda inappropriate).

#3:Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes) - What's up doc? I know this list is mostly modern cartoon characters but how could I forget Bugs. Bugs is one of the main recognizable characters in all of Western animation and he's also my favorite on Looney Tunes.

#2:Mabel Pines (Gravity Falls) - Mabel is awesome! Not only is she voiced by the legendary, Kristen Schaal but she has the funniest lines in the whole show. Her and Soos are my favorites.

#1:Silkie (Teen Titans Go)

Just kidding, #1 is actually:

Louise Belcher (Bob's Burgers) - Louise is my favorite character in the show. She's funny, cool, and somebody I wouldn't mess with. If I was a kid at her school, I'd be afraid to pick a fight with Louise. She has some awesome quotes and I just thought of something, where the heck is Gene. I like Gene so much that I will make my own number dedicated to just him.

Number Bleventeen:Gene Belcher (Bob's Burgers) - Gene is very funny just like the rest of the cast. He loves to blurt out random things and make fart sounds of his keyboard. The whole show is awesome and if the people at Fox are reading this, please give Bob's Burgers tons more seasons.

Well, that's it!

See 'ya later on The Matt Show.

The Skullbot

I have a somewhat scary story to tell you with a definite creepypasta vibe, but the story is actually true:

One day it was Halloween, I was obsessed with a game called Fate. Me and my friends went trick-or-treating. Mom had rented the movie Alpha & Omega for us to watch, we were going to have a big Halloween movie night. Before the movie, I was on a website called eSnips (anybody remember that?) looking for Fate mods and I found an account I'd never seen before. The account was named "appricottwist", I had seen and played with the majority of mods on that account, but I found a mod called The Skullbot. I put in my game and summoned it. Then a HUGE skeleton robot with devil horns appeared. My character tried to kill the beast, but I died too fast. Mom then told me it was time for the movie. I was kinda scared of that creature coming up with tactics to kill it, so I wasn't paying much attention. To be honest, I didn't care for the movie. I'm sorry all you Alpha and Omega fans, but it wasn't my cup of tea. I don't care if you like Alpha and Omega, to each his own. But here is the VERY creepy part, a week later my computer died from a bad virus. Mom took the computer to her boss and he fixed it. When I went on the computer, the mod was gone. It was SO surreal, I'm not sure if he deleted it (because all my other mods were still there). I told the people on the Fate forum this story and they probably thought I was nuts. I bet most of them thought I just had a bad dream, but this is true. So now I am going to find this mod to show the world I'm not crazy.

Does anybody else remember this? Here's a weird theory:

Maybe the movie was so bad that I dozed off and dreamed the whole thing.

Just kidding! But to quote Liam Neeson from Taken
"Skullbot, I will find you and I will kill you!".

The Top 9 Animated Movies Part 2

Welcome back to another top 10 on The Matt Show.

1:Lilo & Stitch - This movie was my CHILDHOOD! I remember when I was younger, I was a huge Lilo & Stitch fan. I loved the movie, the show, and even the obscure video game based off the movie. I could name all of the alien experiments and still probably can. Lilo & Stitch was AWESOME! I used to collect Stitch stuff all the time, every time I would see something with Stitch's face on it, I would make sure to get it. I watched Lilo & Stitch for the first time in a long time last year and you know what it is still a great movie with great characters, great songs, and an amazing take on Hawaiian culture. This is the movie that made me an Elvis fan. It is a childhood gem that I will never forget.

2:Mulan - Mulan is one of those movies that is really funny and entertaining with a pinch of seriousness. The little dragon Mushu cracked me up as a kid and the plot of the movie is interesting as well. I remember thinking that Mulan's dog Little Brother is REALLY cute. I didn't know for the longest time that June Foray who voiced Granny and Witch Hazel on classic Looney Tunes shorts voiced Grandma Fa. I looked it up because I saw her name credited on the 2014 Looney Tunes Show, I was like "That can't be right!" and apparently she is still alive and still voicing cartoons. That is some serious talent if you ask me.

3:Rio 2 - I put the original Rio movie on my first list of the best animated movies. I was a little bit leery about the sequel at first, I thought it was kind of weird that Blu and Jewel were living in the Amazon where in the first movie Blu was a city bird who lived at home with a lady named Linda Gunderson. But then when I watched the movie KAPOW! my mind was blown. The plot was REALLY good, the music was great (especially that cute little song the capybara sings), the animation was top notch, and the baby birds Carla and Bia were freaking adorable. It had a lot of funny moments like when the sloth out of nowhere started rapping. It felt like a Family Guy cutaway and me and mom both laughed REALLY hard. But my favorite new character in the movie was Gabi, the little tree frog. She stole the show! All of the funniest moments were about her love for Nigel, the villainous cockatoo and they were all hilarious. Blu has since become one of my favorite cartoon birds.

4:Stewie Griffin-The Untold Story:I have been a Family Guy fan since I was 14-years-old and watched the episode "Brian in Love" in which Brian the dog fell in love with the mom, Lois. The plot was so funny and I liked the signature "cutaway jokes". Then one day I was at the book store and found a DVD that said "An hour and a half of pee in your pants funny starring the Griffin family", I thought "That's Family Guy all right!" and bought the DVD. The next day, I sat down and watched it, and it was SUPER hilarious. It was like the show in the form of an hour and a half long special. It had fart jokes, cutaways, pop culture references, and everything else Family Guy fans love. It was also weird to see Stewie try to be nice for a change, but that just made it even more hilarious. It had cameos of everyone from Kool-Aid Man to Randy Newman. I thought this was even better than The Simpsons movie. We take you now to our Asian news reporter, Tricia Takinawa. Just kidding!

5:Hercules:When I was younger, I liked mythical creatures so one day I saw this movie playing on the Disney Channel. The movie is REALLY good for people interested in classic mythology it had every creature imaginable from the hydra to the cyclops and it was a funny movie with good music as well. Disney outdid themselves once again!

6:Minions:Me, mom, dad, Aunt Shelley, and Uncle Brian went to the drive-in to see a little movie called Minions. Even though my aunt and uncle thought it was stupid, me, mom, and dad thought it was SO funny! For those who don't know, Minions are cute little yellow creatures that look almost like mutated Twinkies, they come from the Despicable Me franchise and are now the mascot of Illumination Entertainment. The movie had some REALLY good moments and while I'm not going to spoil it, there was a Beatles reference.

7:The Spongebob Movie 2:Spongebob is one of those things that never gets old. I watched it ever since I was 5 and then I took a break for a while as I felt I was too old for the show. Then one day, I saw a trailer for a new Spongebob movie and thought it looked really good. Me and my dad went to see it and we LOVED it! It had all kinds of references for old Spongebob fans from Patrick yelling "FINLAND!" to an appearance by Bubble Bass himself, it was a great movie.

8:Flushed Away - Flushed Away is a movie about a mouse getting flushed down a toilet and visiting a city of rats and frogs. The movie is an Aardman classic and if you like Wallace & Gromit like I do, I'm sure this movie will crack you up. It does have a lot of toilet humor but it's not ALL toilet humor, it has more adult humor than your average kid's movie, let me put it that away.

9:The Lorax - I've been a Dr. Seuss fan for years and loved Horton Hears a Who, when I found out they were making a Lorax movie I got really excited as the Lorax was one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books as a kid. The movie was a cute, nice, funny family movie. It had some really good parts and we all enjoyed it. Whether you like Dr. Seuss or you don't, I'm sure this you will like this movie.

Since I can't think of a 9th entry I'm stopping the list here. Have a great day and thanks for reading!

-Matt

Cincinnati Comic-Con 2015

This year, me and my Mom went to Comic-Con again. As soon as we came in, I got a picture with a girl dressed like Raven from Teen Titans. AZARATH METREON ZINTHOS! Sorry, I just had to. Then we walked around for a while and I got a Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends shirt. I've been a Foster's fan since I was 6-years-old and have recently started re-watching the show. To be honest, Foster's holds up better then most of those old cartoons, it actually still REALLY good even for teenagers. I met a girl who had a tattoo of Pikachu holding a bottle of ketchup. I was the only one who got the reference. Only serious Pokemon nerds would even know that is a reference to something as most people would be like "Why is that yellow dog holding ketchup?". The reference comes from an episode of the Pokemon anime in which Pikachu literally falls in love with a thing of ketchup just like when Spongebob fell in love with a Krabby Patty. Then we met Robin Lord Taylor from Gotham and The Walking Dead. I talked to him about how The Penguin is my favorite Gotham character and I even got a picture taken with him. The next celebrity we met was Mayor Adam West, or should I say Batman. For those who don't know, Adam West plays the mayor on the Fox cartoon, Family Guy. He even said "I'm the mayor of Quahog so you better vote for me". I was all like forget Batman, you're on Family Guy! I am certainly a Family Guy nerd. I also got pictures with cosplayers dressed as Princess Leia and Solid Snake from Metal Gear. After a while, me and Mom were walking and I saw these people play Smash Bros, I decided to join in on the next game. I picked Kirby (who was my main in the 64 version) and got my butt kicked. I guess I haven't used an N64 controller in a very long time. After Comic-Con, we went to Taco Bell. I have to say, going to Comic-Con was a fun experience and let's hope next year is even better!

The FOX Animation Universe

This blog is a theory about how all FOX cartoons (and some non-Fox shows) exist in the same world. Here are the shows and movies I'm talking about:

-Family Guy
-American Dad
-The Cleveland Show
-The Simpsons
-Futurama
-Bob's Burgers
-King of the Hill
-Beavis & Butt-Head
-Robot Chicken
-Ice Age
-Rio
-Rick and Morty
-Daria
-The Flintstones
-The Jetsons
-The Critic
-Mad
-Regular Show

I did plenty of research and this may or may not be true.

Notes:

-The live-action shows like Firefly and Gotham exist in a greater Fox universe. Which may not work because Morena Baccarin plays Inara on Firefly and Leslie on Gotham. It is also possibly that Gotham exists in the DC Comics universe which may or may not include MAD.
-Spongebob has been deconfirmed to exist in this universe because Family Guy and The Simpsons refer to it as a fictional show.
-South Park has been deconfirmed as well because it refers to Family Guy as a fictional show.
-Robot Chicken is that may not be true because they use dolls instead of cartoons.

Now let's get to it...

Family Guy:

-Official crossover with The Simpsons.
-Homer appeared on Family Guy for a few seconds.
-Has crossover over various times with American Dad.
-The Cleveland Show is a spinoff of this show.

The Simpsons:

-Several appearances and references have been made between them and Family Guy.
-Homer, Bart, Ned Flanders, and the doctor (I forget his name) have all appeared on MAD.
-The family as well Ned Flanders and Apu appeared on Robot Chicken.
-On Bob's Burgers, one of Tina's fanfictions was titled "Sexy Simpsons".
-Official crossover with Futurama.

Futurama:

-Official crossover with The Simpsons.
-Bender appeared on Family Guy.
-Bender appeared once on Mad.
-In Bart's satelite TV induced nightmare, Bender can be seen.

Bob's Burgers (my personal favorite):

-Bob and Louise have appeared on Family Guy.
-Bob, Louise, Gene, Tina, and Linda appeared on The Simpsons, although they were yellow like the rest of the characters.
-A picture of Bob can be seen on Family Guy.
-Carl does an impression of Bob in a recent Family Guy episode (I forget which one!)

King of the Hill:

-Hank, Bobby, and Peggy have appeared on Family Guy.
-The main cast has appeared several times on The Simpsons as well.

Beavis & Butt-Head

King of the Hill is considered a spinoff of this show.

Daria:

Daria used to go to school with Beavis & Butt-Head.

Robot Chicken:

-Stewie and Brian visit the Robot Chicken universe in the episode "Road To The Multiverse" which is personally one of my favorite Family Guy episodes.
-The Chicken appeared on The Simpsons.
-Peter and Homer have both appeared on Robot Chicken.
-The show was mentioned on Mad.
-Several Mad sketches pay tribute to RC with a similar art style.

MAD:

-Several Simpsons, Family Guy, and Futurama characters have shown up on Mad.
-Alfred E. Neuman has appeared on The Simpsons on various occasions.
-The Spies and a Don Martin guy have both been on Family Guy.
-The Spies appeared on Robot Chicken as well.

The Flintstones:

-Fred, Barney, Bamm-Bamm, Wilma, and Pebbles have been on Family Guy on various occasions.
-Fred, Wilma, and Pebbles showed up on The Simpsons.
-Fred and Barney appeared on Mad.

The Jetsons:

-Official crossover with The Flintstones.
-George Jetson appeared on Mad.

-Mordecai, Rigby, and Benson have appeared on Mad.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Have a nice day, :D.

My Thoughts:Teen Titans Go!

Just to be honest, I never watched the original Teen Titans show. But one day I was REALLY bored, so I decided to turn on Teen Titans Go! Let me say, it's a pretty good show. It's not the best show on Cartoon Network but it's certainly not the worst either. The plots are interesting and the characters are really funny. My favorite characters are Beast Boy and Raven personally. It's not a show that I would go out of my way to watch, but I would still turn it on if there's nothing else on. But Clarence is still 100 times better!

Piggie Pie

You may be asking yourself "Who the heck is Piggie Pie?" "Does he or she have some relation to Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony". If you just thought that, you're probably a brony, but still, Piggie Pie is a play that me and some friends put on at a local theater. My teacher is Annie Fitzpatrick who may not recognize from the name, but played Victoria Justice's mom in the Nickelodeon movie, Fun Size. Now you know who she is, don't ya? Anyway, the play was about three witches that are looking for pigs to make a dish called Piggie Pie out of. The witches go to a farm and find seven pigs. The pigs then disguise themselves as ducks, cows, and chickens so the witches can't catch them. The witches then meet a wolf, who they decide to eat instead of the pigs. You may be thinking, wow, Matt has really lost it. But, I'm serious, this is an actual, real play. It is based off of a children's book, to be quite honest, but we added some originality to the dialogue. I played a goblin, a pig, and none other than Mr. Wolf himself. Yes, I know, my character got eaten at the end, but have you ever heard the story of Little Red Riding Hood, the wolves always die in the end. But still, it was a VERY fun play. Me and my friend, Nathan actually came up with goblins by ourselves. The teacher asked to play some sort of "mystical creature" and since we don't want to be unicorns or fairies or something girly like that, we both picked the manliest creature in all of fairy land, goblins. When I was the goblin I even referenced Guardians of the Galaxy by saying "I am Groot!". It was loads of fun and I can't wait until next Summer.

Matt's Thoughts:Holidays

You know what, I was thinking earlier about holidays. First off, I'd like to say that it's seems like you start seeing Halloween stuff as early as July. Then when Halloween is over everybody goes straight to Christmas. I'm no Scrooge, but isn't September a little early to see Santa's face everywhere.  Christmas is REALLY about Jesus. So now, I'm going to list my favorite holidays and talk about why I like them:

1. Christmas:Christmas is a VERY important day because it is the day that our Savior Jesus Christ was born. The main reason I love Christmas is so much is the truth. The true meaning that a baby was born in a manger. But I also like Christmas because I get to be with my family. Every Christmas, we go to my Aunt and Uncle's house and have a party. We eat good food, open presents, and play Smash Bros. Trust me, I have the coolest Aunt and Uncle in the world. Let me put it this way, my uncle can do a HILARIOUS impression of practically every Family Guy character and if you don't think that's cool, my Aunt can do both Lois and Conseula in a really funny way. But anyway, another reason I like Christmas is, you might not know this, but I'm sucker for eggnog. Eggnog is my favorite holiday-theme drink in the world and I love it, especially in the form of those mouthwatering shakes from UDF. Did I just get you hungry? I'm sorry! Another REALLY cool thing about Christmas is the TV specials. From classics like Rudolph and Frosty to modern ones like Jeff Dunham and The Simpsons. There are plenty of Christmas specials to choose from, but my favorite however, is The Grinch.

2:Easter:Easter is another very important day because it is the day that Jesus rose from the dead after dying on the cross for our sins. That is what makes it very special to me. Every Easter, me and my grandparents go to Church and have a nice time. After Church, Mom and Dad usually have a delicious Easter meal planned for us with ham, deviled eggs, and baked beans. Are you STILL hungry? Okay, I'll stop.

3:Halloween - Halloween is a day about ghosts, goblins, monsters, witches, spiders, and other things that go bump in the night. I enjoy making a Halloween special every year on my YouTube channel. My Halloween specials are both scary and funny, sometimes just funny. But that is the way I roll! Halloween is cool because I enjoy dressing up. From Luke Skywalker to Mario to Captain Underpants, I've been a lot of really funny characters on Halloween night. My first Halloween costume when I was 2-years-old, I was Ernie from Sesame Street. I had the whole Ernie costume with everything but a rubber ducky. I could go on all day talking about costumes, but instead I'm going to talk more about how cool Halloween is. When I was little, I remember going to the Cincinnati Zoo and doing a fun little activity called Hallzooween. Every year they would have candy stations, awesome decorations, and other cool Halloween things. I don't go anymore because I'm too old and I don't want it to be like that one episode of the Cleveland Show. If your familiar with Seth McFarlane, you know the one I'm talking about.

4:Thanksgiving - Thanksgiving is a day about being with your family and thanking God. That is what it is about in my opinion. Every year we have a huge meal and invite the whole family. Because just like Peter Griffin, I'm a Family Guy! Did that joke take you a second? Probably not. Anyway, another thing I like about Thanksgiving is the parade. I enjoy seeing all of the character floats from Kermit to SpongeBob to Pikachu. It's a very exciting experience and then Santa comes a long and I yell at the screen "GO BACK TO YOUR OWN HOLIDAY, SANTA!" just kidding.

5:The 4th of July - The 4th of July is about the birth of America. In other words, it's a day to sit down and watch Drunk History and American Dad. What am I annoying with the McFarlane references? I'll stop. But another thing I really like about The 4th of July is going downtown and seeing a firework show with my parents. Watching fireworks and listening to some Kid Rock on a beautiful Summer night, it doesn't get much better than that.

6:New Year's Eve - New Year's is to celebrate the year that has passed:or in most recent memory, 2014. I enjoy New Year's because I get to sit with my mom and dad and watch the ball drop. I'm not making any juvenile jokes this time, even though it is hard not to!

7:Every other holiday - The holidays mentioned above are my favorites. But now we're getting into the holidays I could care less about. A few examples I can think of are Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and I'm not sure if it even counts, but April Fool's Day. Sure it's fun to call Moe's bar and ask for Seymoure Butts, but do we really need a WHOLE holiday based off of it? You might as well have national Rick Roll day in which you spend the whole day listening to Rick Astley music. Also, Rick Astley and I apparently share the same birthday, :O.

That's all I've got today. See 'ya soon on the Matt show!

The Last Day of 10th Grade

I had a great year in 10th Grade. I took English, Spanish, Writing, and a Fine Arts class. It was a fun school year. Let me list some of the best things I did this past year:

-I went to the National Underground Railroad Museum and learned a lot about history.
-I learned plenty of Spanish words.
-I took the day off to go see the SpongeBob movie with Dad.
-I got credit for making YouTube videos.
-I watched a lot of MythBusters, Brain Games, and biographies.
-I took the day off on my birthday.
-I realized I wanted to be a writer.
-I went to Comic-Con twice on the weekend.
-We got a new dog (who I mentioned in a previous blog).

It was a very good year and I can't wait for 11th Grade.

There's a reason why School's Out is the only Alice Cooper song I like, lol.

The Top 10 MUGEN Characters I'd Like To See

Your probably wondering, What the heck is MUGEN? Mugen is a 2D fighting game in which you can download all of the characters and stages separately. It has all kinds of characters from Captain Caveman to Bugs Bunny to Mario to Stewie Griffin to ALF. Here are the ones I would like to see:

10. Tori Vega (Victorious) - I am a pretty big fan of the Nickelodeon show Victorious and I think Tori would make a funny character. Her moves could be summoning Jade and her sister, Trina to assist her. It would be awesome!

9. Spyro (Spyro the Dragon) - I've never played a Spyro game, but I'm actually working on a Mugen with just Sony characters. Out of all the many options. Ratchet, Nathan Drake, and Old Snake come to mind. But Spyro would be the coolest in my opinion.

8. Vinnie (Family Guy) - In the Family Guy episode where Brian dies, they get a new dog named Vinnie. The whole reason I'd like to see him is just so he can fight against Brian.

7. Scorchio (Neopets) - Imagine having a Neopet fighting game. For us 2000s kids, it would be very fun. But out of all the Neopets, I think Scorchio would work best. Because my Neopet was a red Scorchio named Lava Lamp.

6. Bob Belcher ( Bob's Burgers) - Considering there are no Bob's Burgers characters in Mugen. Bob would be a pretty good one. He could throw burgers and fries at you and summon Gene to dress up a as Beefsquatch and scare you off. It would be priceless!

5. Scrat (Ice Age) - Brace yourselves, this isn't the only Blue Sky Studios character on the list. I think Scrat would be a good character because he's a "tough nut to crack". Get it!?

4. The Penguin (Gotham) - I was torn on whether to add the Penguin or Fish Moony, but I think The Penguin would be better because I like him better.

3. Percy Jackson (the Percy Jackson series) - There are several mythical characters in Mugen from Zeus to Hercules and even though Percy isn't mentioned in classic mythology, it is still inspired by it. Plus, he could fight with his pen sword, Riptide.

2. Clarence (Clarence) - Think of how funny it would be for Clarence to join Mugen. His taunt could be "I love you!" and Sumo and Chad could be his partners.

 1. Blu (Rio) - Blu would be a hilarious joke character, in my opinion. He could summon Jewel, his kids, and Nigel to help him fight. I think it would be really cool to put him in a fighting game somehow. I mean for every Family Guy, Simpsons, and Street Fighter character, there needs to be a Rio character. I mean come on those movies are so "underrated" and they're also one of my favorites.

Runners-Up:

Animal (The Muppets)
Fate Guy (Fate)
Cleveland Brown (The Cleveland Show)
Greg Heffley (Diary of a Wimpy Kid)
Lady Palutena (Kid Icarus)
Leonard Hofstadter (The Big Bang Theory)
The Lorax (Dr. Seuss)
Hayley (American Dad)
Phil Miller (The Last Man on Earth)
Jareth the Goblin King (Labyrinth)
Alfred E. Neuman (Mad)

Thanks for reading and have a good Summer.

My Writing Over The Years

A lot of you might not know this, but I was already typing when I was 3-years-old. Obviously they weren't actual stories, they were just short lists of things. Then when I was in Kindergarten, we had a writing class. At the time, I was obsessed with Neopets and most of my journals were short one-sentence journals like "Neopets are good" or something like that. The teacher then told me to write actual stories and I would write all kinds of things about guess what:Neopets. It even got to the point where the teacher had to make me stop writing about Neopets because it was too obsessive. In 1st Grade, I wrote about a lot of real experiences from hanging out with my friends to our cat having kittens, I wrote about almost everything. Then when I was 2nd Grade, I made a series of short stories called "The Superdogs. One of my friends had these stuffed dogs she would play with and in my stories I would turn them into superheroes who fight mythical creatures. They had a lot of toilet humor in them because I was 8-years-old at the time and that is the kind of humor 8-year-old boys like. Two years later, when I was in 4th Grade, the teacher asked us to write an autobiography chronicling our whole life from birth to 4th Grade. Most of the kids were like "Awh, do I have to?" but I was really excited. After I wrote it, the teacher published it and gave a copy to Mom and Dad. It wasn't until last Summer, that I realized I wanted to be a writer when I grow up. The first story I wrote was an unusual concept where a dragon saves a princess from a knight. It had plenty of obscure references to things I like from Family Guy to Bob's Burgers in it. Then I wrote a story where an alien meets a kid and teaches him about alien life. It was called Fred Instead and you could tell at this point, I was maturing with my humor. After that, I wrote one about a bird that was afraid of heights. The bird's name was Bob and him and his squirrel friend, Sam went to Florida to meet his Grandma Bird. At first, it sounds kind of like a ripoff of the movie Rio, but this one is more original than anything. Next, I wrote a story where I was the last man on Earth (almost like the new sitcom on Fox), it was where me and my dog had to survive in the city with no other people around, until a girl came a long. Last but not least, I did a story called The Knuckleheads where a kid from the Cincinnati moves to the country to go to a school for kids with ADHD. At the school he meets plenty of people from a hippie named Brody to the school bully, Richie Cinnamon. The story was kind of inspired by Diary of a Wimpy Kid, except it was set in the 80s. I have dreams of being a writer that I will hopefully some day accomplish. Maybe not a famous writer like Dr. Seuss, Stephen King, or Brian Griffin (just kidding!) but one who writes stories that people enjoy.

TV Show Review:Family Guy

Hi fellow blog readers, it's me Matt and I am going to review one of the funniest cartoons on Fox, Family Guy. First things first, I used to not like this show. I thought the whole idea looked stupid and I would constantly make fun of it. Until I sat down to watch an episode and now I'm a pretty big fan. My favorite Fox cartoon is defininetly Bob's Burgers, but this one is by far my second favorite. For those who are unaware, it is about the Griffin family and they go on all kinds of hilarious adventures. The family is made up of the dad, Peter, the mom, Lois, the teenage son, Chris, the daughter, Meg, the talking baby, Stewie, and the talking dog, Brian. Other characters include Quagmire, a guy who always says "Giggity, giggity, giggity, goo!" every time he sees a girl he likes. The Giant Chicken who is constantly getting into fights with Peter and Herbert, the creepy guy in the neighborhood. If I had to pick a favorite character it's tied between Peter and Stewie, I think they're both really funny. Family Guy makes fun a lot of things in pop culture from Looney Tunes to Adam Sandler to Star Wars to Disney to The Muppets, it makes fun of everybody equally. The one thing that I don't like is when they make fun of religion. I believe that there are so many things you CAN do parodies of, that you should probably leave religion out of it. I always change the channel when they start doing that. One of my favorite things on the show is the signature "cutaway gags" in which a character says something and goes to something completely random. They always crack me up. Every few seasons they do something called a "chicken fight" in which a giant chicken jumps out of nowhere and him and Peter start beating each other. These fights sometimes go on for FIVE minutes (I'm pretty sure one was seven minutes), but they're still hilarious. My favorite episode is the crossover with the Simpsons, in which the Griffin family ends up in Springfield. Not only does everybody from the Simpsons show up, but Bob Belcher from Bob's Burgers even makes a cameo, it can't much better than that. All in all, Family Guy is a funny show that I recommend you watch if your looking for a good laugh on a boring day.

Our Puppy, Lakota

This Tuesday, we got a new dog named Lakota Siox. She is a really cute boxer and rottweiler mix. Our beagle, Rooster (who I'm sure I've mentioned in other blogs) likes to hang out with her and they play together. Last Summer, we lost our beloved dog, Shawnee and Rooster was very sad. But now he is happy again. As soon as we brought Lakota home, Rooster was acting all cute and trying to play with her. She is a really sweet dog and is nice to all of us. Hopefully she will grow up to be a good guard dog.

Subeta.net

In the early 2000s, my favorite website was Neopets. I had a dragon-like creature called a Scorchio, but my favorite thing about it was the Petpets. That's right, I became obsessed with those cute little creatures.  I had pictures of all of them saved on the computer and would anticipate the release of new ones. Fast forward to 2009, I was in 5th Grade and I found about a site called Subeta that is supposedly "Neopets for older audiences". I was intrigued by the idea, so I went on the site and thought it was AWESOME! In my opinion, Subeta is strictly for us 2000s kids, who grew up with Neopets and would like something similar for our demographic. So yesterday, I went onto Subeta and made a blue dog-like creature named Rooster, after my real life dog. So if you would like to kill some time. I recommend you check out Subeta.net

The Top 10 Best Smash Bros. Fighters

I've been in a Smash Bros. mood lately. I already listed the top 10 fighters I want to see, so now I'm going to list the top that are already there.

Rules:

1. Modded characters don't count.
2. Characters that aren't in the Wii U version don't count, either. Sorry Snake, Wolf, & Ice Climbers.
3. Mii fighters don't count.

10:Yoshi

Yoshi is not only REALLY cute, but he is a good character as well. He can throw eggs, swallow fighters whole, and has the cutest voice ever. He makes a good #10 on this list.

9:Pac-Man

I have always wanted to see Pac-Man in Smash. As far as third party fighters are considered, he is a very popular choice. So when I found he was going to be in the new game, I was SO hyped. Now that I've played as him, he is a very good fighter who references 80s video games in his moveset. I love the Galaga reference, by the way.

8:Captain Falcon

FALCON PUNCH! Sorry, just had to do that. I've been a Captain Falcon player since Melee and I can honestly say, he is one of the best characters in the game. His "Falcon Punch" may get kind of annoying after a while, but he is still a tough fighter.

7:Luigi

I'm sure you didn't expect Luigi, did you!? Luigi is one of the characters that fans don't give enough love, kind of like Jarjar Binks or Meg from Family Guy. Anyway, he is very fun to play as and is certainly one of the brothers in Super Smash BROTHERS!

6:Palutena

I know I'm a guy, but nowhere does the rulebook state that I can't play a female fighter. For those who don't know, she is from the Kid Icarus series and is supposedly the goddess of light because the Kid Icarus games are heavily based off of Greek mythology. In Smash Bros, her moves mostly use magic which it is nice to have a magic using fighter.

5:Greninja

Greninja is a water-type Pokemon that has a very good moveset but the whole reason he's on this list is how the announcer says his name. "GRAYNINJA!", I crack up every time.

4:Sonic the Hedgehog

How could I forget this blue speedy hedgehog? He is Sega's mascot and was Mario's rival in the 90s. Until Sony and Microsoft came along in the 2000s and changed that. In Smash Bros, he is a very strong fighter but he is also fast. So be careful using him on smaller stages.

3:Mario

There's no way you can make this list without Nintendo's number 1 character, Mario. He is the most recognizable game character in the world and is without a doubt Nintendo's best character.

2:Kirby

Just so you know, Kirby was the first fighter I bought an Amiibo of. I loved playing him in Brawl, so I decided I would purchase a Kirby amiibo alongside my Smash Bros. game. Back on the subject, Kirby is one of the best fighters in the whole series and was one of the first ones confirmed to be in the new Smash.

1:Duck Hunt Dog

Seriously, I'm not joking, Duck Hunt Dog is my number 1 favorite fighter. He may seem weak, but once you play as him you'll realize how tough he is. I have played as this fighter many times and have no flaws with him. Except for one thing:why the heck are the ducks helping him. I thought he was Duck HUNT Dog, not Duck Helper Dog. That's ducked up!

That is my list for today, see 'ya soon on the Matt show!

My Thoughts:Super Smash Bros. Downloadable Fighters

Nintendo confirmed on April 1st that Mewtwo from Pokemon and Lucas from Earthbound will be returning as downloadable characters in Super Smash Bros. 4. At first, I thought that it was probably just an April Fool's Day prank, but apparently it wasn't. If you ever played any of the Mugen games it will be similar to that. There is also a Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot, where you suggest characters for them to add. I voted for Snake, because he was my favorite in Brawl more so than Ice Climbers and Wolf. Even though they probably won't do it, I think a downloadable Adventure Mode would be nice, too. Adventure Mode feels like the ONE thing that is missing in the new game, I just REALLY miss it. Imagine how cool a story mode with a Mario, Sonic, Link, Pikachu, Ness, Pac-Man, Megaman, Shulk, Duck Hunt Dog, Wii Fit Trainer, and Kirby would be. AWESOMENESS OVERLOAD! They could even add some classic enemies like Primids and Buckots from the old Adventure Mode, in a similar vein to Smash Run. I am REALLY looking forward to Mewtwo and Lucas and I cannot wait to see what else they add.

Video Game Review:Fate

I'm kind of bored and what is there to do to pass the time besides make a review one of your favorite video games, right!? So today I am going to review the first game in WildTangent's Fate series. For those who don't know, the game is where you make a character and a pet. For the pet you choose between two animals: dog and cat. Then you have to go on quests and fight all kinds of monsters until you get to the final boss. The game came out in 2005 and was supposed to be a kid-friendly version of the M-rated Diablo games. I first played the game when I was 7 and have loved it ever since. First, I'm going to review the gameplay. The gameplay is fairly easy and can played by both casual and hardcore gamers. It mostly involves battling monsters as you spend most of your time in the dungeon. Next I'm going to review the bestiary. The bestiary is what gamers call the monsters you fight in the game. This game has the most massive bestiary in any single player RPG I've ever played. It has every mythical creature from dragons to gryphons to goblins to giant blobs. Finally, I'm going to review the story. Fate has barely any story and if you are looking for a game with a story that has twists and turns, I suggest you look elsewhere. The game is mostly about questing by either fighting something or finding something. Another good thing about Fate is how incredibly moddable it is. For those who are unaware, mods are things that add new stuff to video games whether it be monsters, weapons, characters, or dungeons. Over 100 mods exist for just this one game and there are plenty of good ones. I have a bunch of mods in my game right now and I've made it feel like a whole new game. The one problem with Fate is that it lacks multiplayer ability and is only single player. So if you are a fan of MMOs (what geeks call multiplayer games), I recommend you don't play this one. The game is also fairly cheap compared to other games like EverQuest, World of Warcraft, and the average Wii U game. I got the first game for $20 and all of the mods are completely free. I do have a warning, though, if you want to add mods, be sure you know what your doing because if your not careful you could crash your game, believe me I've been there. All in all, Fate is a fun experience for any gamer looking for a good game that is somewhat cheap. Whether you've ever played an RPG before or not, I'm sure you will really love this game.

My Day At Lexington Comic-Con 2015

Last Saturday, mom and I went to the Lexington Comic-Con, we had a great nerdy time and did all kinds of cool stuff. We saw all kinds of awesome costumes from Maleficent to Pikachu to Sonic the Hedgehog. I even got a picture with Nintendo's two greatest plumbers, Mario and Luigi. I got to meet Verne Troyer who played Mini-Me in Austin Powers. If you remember, I said I wanted to meet him in a previous blog. Next, I met Gigi Edgley who was the host of Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge. She was SUPER nice to us and I got pictures with her. Finally, I met Jim Cummings who voiced characters on two of my childhood shows, CatDog and Bump In The Night. Catdog is about a cat who is attached to a dog and has been that way it's whole life. It is a wonder how the poor thing even goes to the bathroom, just kidding! Then Bump In The Night, is about a monster named Bumpy who lives under a kid's bed and his friend Squishy lives in the toilet tank. When I met Jim, he even did the Bumpy voice. I was cracking up! I also got to talk to a fellow Smash Bros. fan about our favorite fighters in the series. I had a great time once again!

The Top 10 Muppets

Hi it's Matt and I have been a huge Muppet fan almost my whole life. So today I am going to list the top 10 Muppet characters. Only characters from the Muppet Show, Muppet movies, and Muppets Tonight will be on this list. Which means it excludes characters from Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and anywhere else Muppets live. So now let's get the list started:

#10:Walter - Walter is a fairly recent character who was introduced in the 2011 film simply titled "The Muppets". The film starred Freaks and Geeks actor Jason Segel and his Muppet brother, Walter. Walter's dream was to become a Muppet and he finally achieved that when he met Kermit and friends at the Muppet Theater.

#9:Thog - The Muppets have always had full bodied characters ever since the earlier episodes of the Muppet Show. Anyway, when I think of these characters one in particular always comes to mind:Thog. I know that Sweetums is the most popular, but I personally like Thog better because I think he looks a lot Muppet-ier.

#8:Swedish Chef - For those who don't know, the Swedish Chef is just as his name suggests, he is a chef from Sweden who prepares dishes like Swedish meatballs. The sketches with him are always funny and I think that the voice Jim Henson used is what made those so hilarious.

#7:Pepe the King Prawn - Some people don't know this but Pepe is not a shrimp. That was confirmed in Muppets from Space when he said "I am not a shrimp, I am a king prawn, okay". But still, Pepe is my favorite of the more recent characters that were introduced during the 90s.

#6:Crazy Harry - Crazy Harry is one of those underrated characters that used to be popular, but now almost no one knows who he is. If you don't know who I'm talking about, Crazy Harry is a guy who likes to blow things up and would always do so whenever somebody used a word like "bang" or "blast". You also might not know, that his original name was Crazy Donald but was changed because Harry suited him better.

#5:Beautiful Day Monster - Beautiful Day is a furry blue monster who first appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show in a sketch where he tried to ruin a girl's beautiful day, which is where his name came from. He later appeared on Sesame Street a few times in the early 70s and finally became a recurring character on the Muppet Show.

#4:Fozzie Bear - Fozzie is one of those characters that is super funny and very enjoyable to watch. I believe that Frank Oz did an excellent job performing him and I really enjoy the character, whether the audience thinks he's funny or not.

#3:Gonzo - Gonzo is an alien creature who loves to perform strange stunts like jumping into a giant bowl of oatmeal or eating a rubber tire set to Beehtoven music. Gonzo has always been one of my favorites and I used to watch Muppets From Space all the time and sometimes when they're playing the movie on TV, I'll turn it on just to watch the hilarious adventures of Gonzo.

#2:Kermit the Frog - You expected Kermit to be #1, well, let me say even though I like Kermit a lot number is a character I like much more. But first it's time for some runners up, these are characters I thought about putting on the list but didn't because I don't like as much as the next character. They are:

Beaker
Scooter
Marvin Suggs and his Muppaphones
Lew Zealand
Mnah-Mnah
Dr. Teeth
Janice
Link Hogthrob
and
Kermit's nephew, Robin

#1:Animal - Animal has always been my favorite Muppet, I love how funny he is. He is also my favorite member of the Electric Mayhem.

Well, that is my list. See you next time on the Matt show!

My Blog Update

Hey, everybody, it's Matt, I'm sorry I haven't updated my blog in a while. Let me tell you how I've been the past month. But first, let me talk about my 16th birthday:

I really enjoyed my birthday, and so far I've had a great time being 16. On my birthday, we went to the mall, the Chinese restaurant, and the book store. I had an awesome time. Then we went home and watched Bob's Burgers, which is my favorite cartoon right now. Speaking of cartoons, Mom and Dad made me a cake that looks like Stewie from Family Guy. We also ate fruit salad and cool hwhip, as Stewie would say!

The next week, me and Dad went to see the Spongebob movie and afterwards got reubens, which is currently my favorite sandwich. I also made a new video that parodies the movie "Rio 2". In the video, Gabi, the little tree frog, sings the song "I Had The Time of My Life",  (I will post a link at the bottom if you want to check it out).

I got a new Mad magazine in the mail that spoofs the Star Wars movie, and it explains how fans went from complaining about Jarjar Binks to complaining about J.J. Abrams, it's pretty funny.

Mom's birthday was last week and I went to Olive Garden for the first time. It was the best meal I had eaten a restaurant in a very long time.

I had been snowed in pretty much the whole week (besides Mom's birthday) so I spent most of the time either playing on the computer, reading books, or watching TV shows. Which reminds me, I totally recommend the new Cartoon Network show "Clarence". If you are a fan of the other CN series Regular Show, I'm sure you will love this.

Well, that's pretty much what happened the past month. Mattie E. Neuman signing off!

Weasel Stomping Day

Let me tell you something, I am a pretty big fan of Weird Al. I love all of his songs, but my favorites are Amish Paradise and White & Nerdy. When I found out Weird Al did a song for Robot Chicken, I wasn't sure what to think, because personally I'm not that big a fan of Robot Chicken. I think some of it is funny, but most of it is stupid and offensive. That is just my opinion, I have nothing against you if you like it, to each his own! Anyway, when I saw the clip, I seriously laughed harder than I had in years. It was so funny and I almost fell out of my chair laughing! Apparently, Weird Al + Robot Chicken = the funniest music video EVER! So, I would like to share with you this hilarious Weird Al moment. WARNING! The following video features animated gore, if you are sensitive to that kind of thing do NOT click.

The Spongebob Movie:Sponge out of Water Review

Last Thursday, Dad and I went to see the new Spongebob movie at the theater. It was really good and had plenty of funny parts in it. The movie was where a villainous pirate named Burgerbeard had stolen the Krabby Patty secret formula and it was up to Spongebob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, and Sandy to go on land and stop him. I'm not going to get too into detail for people who haven't seen the movie (I don't want to spoil it for them), but I have to say the movie had more cartoon parts then I expected. I expected the majority of it to be CGI, but it really doesn't become CGI until the very middle which kind of surprised me. I am kind of glad they did it that way, though, because the underwater parts are probably the best ones. But anyway, it was a very good take on the Spongebob TV series and I think it is so much better than the first movie. I highly recommend it to any Spongebob fan and I give it 9 out of 10 stars. Keep up with the good work, Nickelodeon!

Saturday Night Live's 40th Anniversary

This weekend Mom, Dad, and I tuned in to the SNL 40th Anniversary Special. It had everybody from Mike Myers to Eddie Murphy to Adam Sandler to Paul Mccartney. It was super funny and was a great celebration of 40 years on television. Now let me list all of the best (and worst) moments of the episode:

The Goods:

1. Wayne's World! Party Time! Excellent! That's right the Wayne's World sketch was by far my favorite part of the whole episode. I had recently seen the Wayne's World movie and thought it was hilarious, so watching it on SNL was even funnier. Mike Myers and Dana Carvey did a great job.

2. The intro by Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon was awesome. It had pretty much every SNL quote you could think of and if you don't like it, you'll be living IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER! Just kidding!

3. The compilation of short films from SNL over the years was really good, too. From the cartoons of TV Funhouse to those silly fake commercials they do, it had everything!

4. The Jeopardy sketch was funny as well, especially because of the girl pretending to be Justin Bieber, I think she did a pretty good job portraying him.

The Bads:

1. The California sketch wasn't all that great in my opinion. It took way too long to get to the end and I didn't think it was all that funny personally. But I'm sure many people from California found it hilarious.

2. The commercial for "Mom Jeans" wasn't all that great either. Not because it wasn't well made or anything like that, I just didn't find it funny.

I am so glad that the show has been on TV for that long and here's to another 40 years of SNL!

The Top 10 Best Mad Skits

Hi it's me, Mattie E. Neuman and I have to tell you:I almost stopped watching Cartoon Network when they cancelled Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. But then the show that "saved their network" came along and that was, Mad. Sure, some of their other shows are good like Regular Show, Incredible Crew, Uncle Grandpa, and the Looney Tunes Show, but Mad is by far my favorite. For those who are unaware, Mad is an animated sketch show that parodies things like TV shows, movies, celebrities, current events, video games, and popular songs. Some people describe it as "a kid-friendly version of Robot Chicken" but I think Mad is much funnier than that weird stop-motion stuff. So now I'm going to list the 10 best parodies Mad had done during it's 5-year run:

#10:Avaturd - This parody was their take on James Cameron's hit movie Avatar. It had many different blue characters including Blue from Blue's Clues, Grover, an M&M, and Papa Smurf in the parody. It even had an appearance of Rafiki from the Lion King. I thought it was very funny for a pilot episode.

#9:Rioa - The sketch combined the movie Rio with the Green Lantern. It also had references to Sesame Street, Regular Show, Angry Birds, and even Happy Feet. Considering I really like the movie Rio (and it's sequel), Mad did an excellent take on it and made it very funny.

#8:VICTORious - For those who are unaware, Victorious is a Nickelodeon teen sitcom about a girl named Tori who goes to a performing arts school. Victorious is one of my favorite Nickelodeon shows and I watch it almost every morning. Even though I'm unfamiliar with Victor Von Doom from Spiderman, I think Mad did a hilarious job. But they forgot to add Cat, Beck, and Trina. What's up with that!?

#7:Diary of A Wimpy Kid Icarus - Imagine taking every video game character known to man and squeezing them into a two minute segment, that is pretty much this sketch. Every video game character including Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, Kirby, and Crash Bandicoot are in it. But the sketch mainly centers around Pit who takes the role from Greg Heffley from Diary of A Wimpy Kid.

#6:Pokemon of Interest - What would happen if you mixed Pokemon with Person of Interest:this parody, of course. The reason it's on this list isn't because of Pokemon or Person of Interest, it is because of the brief reference to Gravity Falls, one of my favorite Disney Channel shows.

#5:Garfield of Dreams - Even though I do like Garfield (I used to watch The Garfield Show all the time), he's not the reason I like this sketch so much, it's because of how it spoofs Family Guy creator, Seth McFarlane. Not only does it talk about him, but it parodies his two shows, Family Guy and American Dad in such a funny way. This is a must see for Family Guy fans!

#4:Mouse M.D. - In this sketch, Mickey Mouse plays the role of Dr. House and has many unusual patients including Cookie Monster, Bob the Builder, and Hannah Montana. I thought it was really funny how they poked fun at the "Veggie Monster" rumor that was going on with Cookie Monster at the time. I seriously feel sorry for anybody who believed that rumor.

#3:The Worst Show Ever - Let me set something straight before I get into detail of this sketch:I am NOT a One Direction fan, the only reason I like this one is because it is filled to the brim with references only die-hard Mad fans would get. It references almost every episode and magazine they've done in a 3-minute song. How awesome is that!?

#2:Dolphineas and Ferb Tale - In this Dolphin Tale parody, Phineas and Ferb try to help an injured dolphin by entering in a robot dolphin race. This is a good #2 because I am a fan of Phineas and Ferb.

#1:Ribbitless - This is the #1 sketch on any Muppet fan's list. This sketch is where Kermit the Frog swallows a butterfly and Miss Piggy and Fozzie help him with his American Idol audition. This might be the funniest Muppet spoof since Seth McFarlane did Kermit as Liam Neeson in Taken. It has many obscure Muppet references and even had appearances by Statler and Waldorf at the end. It is a great #1 on our list.

If you want to see one of these parodies, look them up on YouTube! I'm sure you will laugh your head off.

My 16th Birthday

In a week, I am going to turn 16 years old. I am so excited about my birthday. But for now let me talk about some of the best things that happened when I was 15:

-I started this blog.
-I went to Comic-Con for the first time.

Comic-Con 2015

I hear that there is going to be another Comic-Con close to where I live that I am really forward to going to. It is going to be much bigger than the last one and have a lot of people I would like to meet. Firs off we have Verne Troyer, who plays Mini-Me in Austin Powers. For those who are unaware, Austin Powers is a comedy movie that parodies James Bond and other similar movies and adds lots of crude, off-color humor. In the movies, the bad guy named Dr. Evil has a henchman named Mini-Me. I am a really big fan of those movies and would love to get my picture taken with Mini-Me. Next we have, Gigi Edgley who was the host of a game show called Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge and also starred on the science fiction fantasy series Farscape. As a fellow Muppet fan, I think it would be awesome to meet somebody who knows Brian Henson. Last but not last, Robin Taylor who plays the Penguin on the most recent adaption of the life of Batman, Gotham will be there. I have seen every episode of Gotham thus far and am REALLY enjoying it so I can not wait to see all of those awesome people there.

Top 10 Super Smash Bros. Downloadable Characters

I am really enjoy the new Smash Bros. Wii U game and I can not wait until Mewtwo is released as a downloadable character this Spring. So today I am going to list top 10 characters that should be released as DLC for SSB4. The one rule is that every character has to be a game character. As cool as it would be to have Darth Vader or Superman in Smash Bros, every character on this list is going to be from games. You may be thinking that a character like say Batman has been in games, but these characters have to originate in video games. Okay, let's start the list:

#10:Toad - I mean we have tons of Mario characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi and I believe that Toad is the one character who's missing. Considering Toad has a new game called "Captain Toad:Treasure Tracker" it would be appropriate for Nintendo to had him.

#9:Toon Zelda - I hear that Toon Zelda was going to be added to Brawl but was taken out due to time constraints. Which means that it really surprises me how she wasn't added to this game. This is the first Smash Bros. game to date to not have a new Legend of Zelda character, so I think Toon Zelda would be a perfect fit to fight alongside Toon Link.

#8:Ridley - I know Sakurai said that Ridley would be too big to be in the game but come on, the Metroid series needs some love. I mean really, the only character is Samus (not counting Zero Suit Samus, who I consider to be another form of Samus), so imagine how awesome it would be to be a giant space dragon in Smash Bros.

#7:Dixie Kong - I feel like Diddy Kong needs a friend. He is one of the loneliest Smash Bros. characters because fans treat him with such disrespect. He's kind of like Meg from Family Guy in that way. So I think that the only think to Diddy Kong cooler and to represent the Donkey Kong series a little bit more, they should add Dixie Kong.

#6:Crash Bandicoot - I know you might be thinking "REALLY!? He's a Sony character" but before you start complaining, I think that Crash would be an excellent third-party edition to Smash Bros. He is a mascot just like Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man, and Megaman and it would be cool for him to join the mascot fight.

#5:Wolf - It is a mystery to why they even took out Wolf in the first place. The Star Fox universe has only two characters and in my opinion, Smash Bros. needs another bad guy. The only new bad guy in this game is Bowser Jr. and I think Wolf would really be a good edition to Smash.

#4:Pokemon Trainer - I know that Charizard is already in the game, but please, hear me out. I think that Pokémon Trainer should return because he really made Brawl be a lot more Pokémon-ish and as a fellow Pokémon fan, I definetly think he should be in it.

#3:Spyro the Dragon - Yes, that's right, there is another Sony character on the list. I have always liked dragons and I think that Spyro would be a good edition to Smash Bros. because don't you think, the game needs a dragon.

#2:Lucas, Ice Climbers, and Roy - I know it's kind of wrong to put three in one, but these characters, even though I never really played as them should still return just so people who liked them can have their favorite characters back.

#1:Snake - Snake was one of my favorite characters in Brawl and it really made me mad when they took him out. I was a huge Snake fan and I miss how awesome he made the game. So I most definetly think that Snake should return.

Well, that is my list, see ya next time on the Matt Show!

The Top 10 Best CGI Animated Movies

Hi everybody, it's Mattie E. Neuman from 2MattTV and today I am going to list the best CGI animated movies. Please note that 2D animated movies like Mulan, the Lion King, and Lilo and Stitch will not be on the list.

1:Up - Up is by far my favorite Pixar movie. The characters are likeable, the story is heartwarming and funny, and the plot keeps you guessing what will happen next. If I had a pick a favorite character it would probably be Dug. I don't know, he's just so cute and funny.

2:Toy Story - Toy Story is another great Pixar film about a toy cowboy named Woody who meets a toy space ranger named Buzz Lightyear. This movie is REALLY funny and features a bunch of new characters like Woody and Buzz and also some familiar faces like Mr. Potato Head and the Troll Dolls.

3:Ice Age:The original Ice Age is one of my favorite kid's movies period. It is funny, it has an interesting story, and I really like the characters. Even though I like them all, if I had to pick a favorite character it would probably be Scrat, I just really think he's funny.

4:Shrek - The first Shrek, in my opinion, is the only good one in the series. The story is about an ogre and a donkey who save a prince from a fire breathing dragon. It has a lot fairy tale characters like Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Pinnochio, and the Three Bears it is. It is definetly a must see movie.

5:Finding Nemo - Wow, just, wow! I remember watching this movie when I was younger and thinking it was awesome. Now that I'm older, I can appreciate the movie even more. I mean it is like if you took the fish characters from Spongebob and made them a lot less human-like and added a believable underwater setting you would get this movie. My far character in this film is by far Dory, not only is she funny, but Ellen DeGeneres did a great job voicing her.

6:Ice Age 3 - I know it's kind of cheating putting a sequel on here, but this is definetly the second best movie in the Ice Age series. A lot of people were turned off when they added dinosaurs, but I thought they were really cool-looking. The whole story about Sid being trapped in the dinosaur world was pretty good and the subplot where Scrat falls in love with a lady squirrel was funny, too. My favorite new character in the movie is Buck he was really funny and a great addition to the series.

7:Despicable Me - How could I forget this one? Despicable Me is a REALLY good movie and is by far one of the best animated movies since Ice Age. Also, if you ask me, the Minions are defiently the best characters and I can not wait for the movie based off of them.

8:Horton Hears A Who - I've been a fan of Dr. Seuss since childhood and this movie really treats Dr. Seuss fans right. Unlike those stupid live-action films they made of the Grinch and the Cat In the Hat. Ugh, those movies were so unwatchable, they pretty much felt like if Seth McFarlane wrote children's movies. But now that those crappy movies are over, we finally get a good Dr. Seuss movie. It's creative, funny, and animated. I personally believe that anything Dr. Seuss should be animated.

9:How To Train Your Dragon- Let me tell you something, I REALLY like dragons and this movie has a really good intepretation of them. This movie is by far one of the best animated fantasy films I've ever seen and is written really well and is funny at times. My favorite character in this film is Toothless, mostly because the guy who provided the sounds for him also voiced Stitch. What more is there to like?

10:Rio - Rio is a movie about a bird who gets sent to South America to meet one of the few female birds of his species. The movie was really good and I'm surprised that I haven't seen the sequel yet. No matter how good the sequel is, it still makes a good number 10 on my list.

I thought about including Despicable Me 2 and Toy Story 3 as well, but I figured that one sequel is enough for this list. Anyways, thanks for reading and have a great day.

New Spongebob Movie

Apparently, Nickelodeon is releasing another theatrical Spongebob film. It is going to be sequel to the original film simply titled "The Spongebob Movie" which came out in 2004. When I first saw the trailer, I was a little skeptical. To be honest, I thought it looked kind of stupid. But then after seeing it several more times, I realized that it actually looks like it might be pretty funny. I have been a fan of Spongebob since I was in Kindergarten and have seen almost every episode, special, and movie they've done and I think that this movie might be really good. I've noticed that a lot of fans say that new Spongebob isn't as good as old Spongebob, they say that the writers are running out of ideas and that the character's just aren't likable anymore. I personally do not agree with that statement, I think new Spongebob is just as funny as old Spongebob and sometimes even better. That's right, I'm a part of the minority that actually enjoys the newer Spongebob episodes. I think they're just as funny, witty, and creative as the old episodes even is there a few duds. If you ask me, I'd say that Nickelodeon's other hit cartoon the Fairly Oddparents has gone extremely downhill, but Spongebob is just fine.
