Country Rap

This was a fun little project I did for school last year:

My name is Billy,
I'm from southern Indiana,
I don't just rap,
I play the guitar and piana.

I go rabbit hunting with my hound dog, Spot,
Sometimes he's there, sometimes he's not,
Down on the farm, I've got chickens and rabbits,
People don't appreciate,
My rhyming habits.

Me and my wife and my son and my dog,
Have the best time ever,
Even when the outhouse clogs.

I grew up in the hills of Kentucky,
With a mom named Lisa and a dad named Chucky,
When I went to school, I took a music class,
If you don't like it, you can kiss my bass!

I'm a country rapper,
People say it's weird,
As my buddy Zed says,
Don't fear the beard,
I was 18-years-old when I met my wife Hannah,
We packed our bags and moved to Indiana.

I like fishing,
In the Summer, when it's hot,
It's a fun with thing to do,
Just me and Spot,
We'll catch everything,
From crapy to bluegill,
Tonight we'll have fried fish,
Yes we will.

I had my son when I was 28,
He was a nice little baby,
So I named him Nate,
He has grown to be a fine little boy,
A turkey call was his first toy.

People from the city have a different way of living,
They're against our way of life,
I just don't get it,
So if you wanna move down to the country,
I don't know about you,
But it's the place for me.
