I got a puppy when I was fourteen,
We named him Rooster a cute little name,
He was the best puppy I'd ever seen,
He loved when I filmed him for YouTube fame.
Whenever it would storm I'd comfort him,
He'd be still as stone and too scared to play.
The brilliance of the day would become dim,
But our friendship would shine as bright as day.
Then one beautiful Summer afternoon,
A new best friend for Rooster came along,
Lakota Sioux was the sun to his moon.
They were with each other, where they belonged.
Now the three of us are with each other,
The days fly by one after the other.
